Postcards
| PROLABdigital can print your Post cards using the DocuColor2045 printer or the Canon1120 printer for short run jobs and larger quantities will be printed on the Heidelberg press. Both the DocuColor2045 and the Canon1120 do not have accurate registration for 2-sided printing and the maximum card stock we are able to run is 12pt C2S. It is wise to have at least .25 margin for image shifting on the back. Printing on the press is fairly accurate for 2 sided printing. | ![]() |
When setting up files: place two up on a page with crop marks designating trimming. For bleed prints, make sure you have extended the image at least .25" beyond the crop marks for trimming. When doing 2 sided postcards, compare the back page to the front as if it were being printed and then trim it out to make sure everything is the way you envisioned it.
Scan images for the DocuColor2045 and Canon 1120 as rgb.eps or cmyk.tif 300dpi at full size. Scans for offset printing should be 305dpi cmyk.tifs or cmyk.eps files at full size. 4 color film and a match print will be made and sent to you for color approval before start of printing.
